NUTS Presents: Pride and Prejudice
Event description
Jane Austen's moving novel takes the stage in Deborah Mulhall's adaptation of the text (with edits by Divya Nandyal) - join us in a funny, hopeful, touching tale of sisterhood, friendship, family, and, of course, true love.
Mr Bingley has moved in next door to the Bennets' home, bringing with him a jovial attitude, his arrogant friend, Mr Darcy, and his holier-than-thou sister, Caroline - of course, the ton is in uproar! A single man in possession of good fortune, must be in want of a wife - and who better to wed than one of the five Bennet sisters! There is, however, the tricky situation of the entail of Mr Bennet's estate, as well as interfering regiment officers, and nosy aunts.
Watch, as this iconic narrative unfolds, and allow yourself to be wrapped up in the dancing, costumes, and, most of all, the drama!
