"Cococonstance" by Jimmy Nuttall

"Cococonstance" follows Coco sharing a home and art studio with friend Jane, with aspirations to self-publish an artist book featuring the late Rodney Constance's photographs from a historical gay époque. Featuring an ensemble cast, including Oliver Savariego, Eugene Choi, Kate Meakin, Mick Klepner-Roe, Geoffrey Watson, Sebastian Henry-Jones and Joseph Gauci-Seddon. Shot by Ella Sowinska, the film's musical score is by Daniel Jenatsch, with artistic and sound support by Nicholas Smith. Commissioned by EO Gill and the National Art School, it was initially presented as part of the "Fulgora" exhibition for Sydney World Pride 2023. Jimmy Nuttall, based in Naarm/Melbourne, is an artist and filmmaker known for his multidisciplinary practice, including filmmaking, performance, textiles, and sculpture. Previous shows include “MY BED, MY BODY, MY BAG” at TCB in 2021, and his 2019 film "Fabulina".

"Body Corporate" by the Mathew Bergan and Stephen Cummins

Stephen Cummins, was an Australian filmmaker, photographer and curator. He was born in 1960 and passed away in 1994, having made a significant impact on the independent queer film scene."Body Corporate,” is a film choreographed by Mathew Bergan, written by Garry Stewart and directed by Stephen Cummins. Filmed at World Square in Sydney. In Bergan’s words:

“The film is about an abusive tyrant director/choreographer who I once worked for, who would come in to the studio at the end of the day for 20 minutes, and expect his choreography to be fully realised, perfectly executed and enthralling. It was non of the above.”

Cummins, a filmmaker, photographer, and curator, was instrumental in founding Queer Screen in 1993, dedicated to the production, promotion, distribution, and discussion of Australian LGBTIQ+ film and video.
