Book keeping Basics Workshop with Diana Does Books
If you’ve ever stared at your business finances and thought, “I wish someone would just explain this in plain English,” this workshop is for you.
Join us at the Nambucca Heads RSL Club on Saturday 27 June from 10am–1pm for a relaxed, beginner‑friendly session designed to take the stress (or at least most of it) out of bookkeeping. Bring your laptop, bring your questions, and bring all the things you’ve been too unsure to ask — like:
What actually is a bookkeeper, and why do I need one?
Can I be my own bookkeeper?
How do I keep my business finances organised without feeling overwhelmed?
I’m Diana, founder of Diana Does Books, and I’ve spent years working with businesses of all sizes and industries. My approach is down‑to‑earth, practical, and centered on helping business owners understand what’s really going on with their money — without jargon, judgement, or confusion.
During this workshop, we’ll explore:
The core concepts every business owner needs to understand about their finances
What a bookkeeper actually does (and how to know if you need one)
Simple, sustainable methods to keep your books in order
How to make sense of the money moving in and out of your business
How to correctly label income vs expenses — and why some transactions are business and others are personal
Come along, learn in a supportive environment, and make book keeping feel a whole lot less scary.
