Event description

This will be a Hybrid Event with both In Person and Online Attendance Possible

About the Event:

PMINZ Bay of Plenty Branch are excited to announce that our next meeting will take place on 3 July from 10 -12 Midday, sponsored by Hatch Consulting (https://hatchconsulting.co.nz/

Join us for an engaging and focused discussion on the key changes and implications of NZS 3910:2023. This session will explore five critical areas shaping the future of construction contracts, contract management and project delivery in New Zealand:

  1. Role Separation – How is the separation of roles influencing project governance, on-site trust, and dispute resolution?

  2. Target Price – What does this new approach mean for cost control, transparency, and equitable risk-sharing?

  3. Site Administration – Are early warning notices and updated variation processes improving contract workability?

  4. Legal Risk & Special Conditions of Contract (SCCs) – Could the shift to fault-based liability and capped liabilities reduce disputes?

  5. Industry Culture – Are existing cultural norms limiting the effectiveness of NZS 3910:2023 reforms?

Gain expert insight and be part of the conversation as we unpack the practical implications of these changes and their potential to reshape industry practices. Whether you're a contractor, consultant, client, or legal advisor, this is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding and connect with others navigating this transition.
