The Artificial Intelligence of Things, from New Zealand perspective

The Internet of Things advances and extends digital connectivity to devices, sensors and networks in homes, businesses and far beyond. The potential applications of IoT are now evident and clear. IoT is establishing and driving new benefit to the global economy with transformative technologies made available for wearables, smart home appliances, smart cities, logistics management, and much more. IoT exists in a fast-developing innovation ecosystem (that includes AI) that requires collaboration, partnership and joint investment between ICT providers, enterprises, research institutes, and governments.

The New Zealand IoT Alliance is a driving force in ensuring this ecosystem thrives. In this session, we’ll discuss the IoT current landscape in NZ and have a look at the report the New Zealand IoT Alliance published on NZ sector IoT enablement.
