The 2022 Symposium is being held in Christchurch at the Town Hall, Monday 5 – Tuesday 6 September.

Theme: “Titiro Whakamua – Looking to the future”

If you registered for the NZSTA 2021 conference (which did not go ahead) you are entitled to complimentary access to day one (Mon 5th) of the 2022 symposium. If you wish to attend day two (Tues 6th) of the 2022 symposium you will be charged.

There is no refund should NZSTA 2021 conference registrants be unable to attend day one of the 2022 symposium; however, registrants may transfer their complimentary access to another speech-language therapist for an administrative fee of $60 + GST by writing to admin@speechtherapy.org.nz

Refund policy

NZSTA will pay a full refund less $60 + GST administration charge if notification of cancellation in writing (via email) is received by Monday 01 August 2022. Notification in writing from the 2 August and until the 22 August 2022 will result in a refund of 50% of the registration fee. There will be no refund of the registration fee from Tuesday, 23 August 2022. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the NZSTA, the symposium needs to be postponed, there will be no refund, and the programme will be provided to symposium delegates at a later date or in a different format.
