O'Grady Drama Spring Workshop Series

Join teaching artists from O’Grady Drama for a series of two day workshops, giving young people the opportunity to work together to create, express their own views and perform in a group environment.

Spring Workshops

Year 2-4 - Once Upon a Time

When: 8th and 9th October (10am - 3pm)

Join us for an exciting two-day workshop where you'll learn the secrets to crafting captivating tales, re-imagine familiar fairytale heroes and villains and build the confidence to share your story with the world!

Year 5-6 - Comedy Central (2 Days)

When: 10th and 11th October (10am - 3pm)

Explore physical comedy, slapstick, comic timing, discover improvisation techniques and learn the principles that will enrich your performance.

Year 6-9 - Choose Your Own Adventure (2 Days)

When: 8th and 9th October (10am - 3pm)

Create characters and delve into endless storytelling possibilities to create an interactive show with multiple endings, where your family and friends decide the fate of the story.

Year 9-12 - Scene Work Intensive (2 Days)

When: 10th and 11th October (10am - 3pm)

Through scene work and practical exercises, you'll gain the confidence to go beyond the words on the page and express yourself creatively. The workshop culminates in a performance, where you'll showcase your newfound skills and share the magic of theatre.
