There are many reasons why babies can protest about going to sleep and it helps to look at the most basic possibilities first.

Every baby is an individual and has their own sleep requirements. Some babies sleep better and longer than others and the reasons may vary according to your baby’s age and stage of development. Even tired babies can cry when they’re going to sleep!

If you ask a toddler how much sleep they want they will say NONE!! If you say it’s time for bed – you'll most likely get a protest and perhaps even a little toddler tantrum!! Sleep though is still very important for our toddlers or our 1 - 3 year olds and can be a confusing and confronting time for many.
