Fine art, food, and wine come together in YAVA's 'Out and About' series, featuring Kate Baker as artist in residence at Oakridge.

A fine art photographer, Kate works primarily with black and white film and more recently has begun exploring alternative photographic processes such as cyanotypes and paper negatives. "What interests me is the way photography can reach into the depth of 'soul' of something, allowing a pathway to connection to that which is both within us and greater than us."

YAVA 'Out and About' series moves beyond the gallery walls and curates spaces in other venues. Part of Yarra Valley Fireside Festival, Kate's residency at our cellar door will take place from July 13 to 27.
