Oaky Creek Camp

Join us for fabulous camping weekend on a very Scenic Private Property out in the Scenic Rim

DATE: April 25th to 27th, 2025

LOCATION: 733 Oaky Scrub Road, Oaky Creek, Rathdowney

You are able to arrive from 2.30pm on Friday, 25th April 
Saturday - Sign On 8.30am - Ride Out at 9.00am (4.5 hrs Ride with Saddle bag Morning Tea & Lunch)
Sunday - Sign On - 8.30am - Ride Out at 9.00am  (3 hr ride with saddle bag Morning Tea with Lunch back at camp)

BRING: BYO Food (please bring plate to share on Saturday night around the campfire), human water, shower, toilet & horse fencing.

TERRAIN: The terrain can be quite steep & hilly, in sections with some long  climbs, it is recommended that your horses & yourself be reasonably fit. Horse to be either shod, booted, or seasoned barefooters would cope. 

MUST BE A CURRENT ATHRA MEMBER

ATHRA recommends the following;

• Riders under 18 must wear an approved helmet

• It is recommended that riders wear full length trousers and sleeved  shirt. Suitable smooth soled riding footwear

• Saddlebag for food / water

• No dogs on ride
