Oasis Kids Community Event: It's a Mystery!

Oasis Kids (O.K.) is excited to present our next community event open to any families in the local area and those connected to our Community Hub. 

This is a Free Event open to any kids in prep to grade 6, however bookings are essential and there are limited spaces. Bookings close Thursday 28th May 11.59pm. 

Our O.K. Community Events run several times throughout the year and each have a different theme. This time 'It's a Mystery' with games, competitions and other activities planned to create some fun and positivity for local kids in the area. 

We highly value safety at BNO, with all our volunteers connected to the event being carefully screened as Blue Carded Child Safe Volunteers, to ensure kids are looked after and have a great time. 

These nights are a great chance for parents to enjoy a date night or some important self-care time as well as being a fun activity for your kids to end the week!

You're welcome to drop off and collect your kids anytime between 5.30pm & 8.30pm to suit your family's schedule. The planned program is detailed below, and kids will participate in activities they are there for in the schedule program. We'll also include a dinner meal if your kids are there for the dinner component. 

This event is run by the Brisbane North Oasis Community Fund (which is all about finding ways to positively impact our local community) and is completely free, although anyone is always welcome to donate to this. 

Planned schedule for the evening: 

5:30pm to 5.45pm: Sign in & Chill time

5.45pm - 6.30pm: Activities Part 1

6.30pm to 7:00pm: Dinner

7:00pm to 8.30pm: Activities Part 2

8.30pm: Parents/Guardians to collect kids at latest

PLEASE NOTE: This event is for kids in prep to grade 6 only, and in the interest of safety the BN Oasis team reserve the right to turn families with kids outside this age away on the night if they do not fall in the prep to grade 6 age bracket. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this by not booking underage or overage kids into this event. 

This is an open invite event and is something we're offering for free to any families locally, as well as those connected to the church or involved in past community events. We do this as we love to do things to bless our community and be a positive presence! If you can help us get the word out and send this onto any parents who you think would benefit from it too, that'd be much appreciated.
