Event description
Featuring Susannah Lawergren (soprano), Peter Jenkin (clarinet) and Emily Granger (harp)
This concert will begin and conclude with the sounds of Shepherds from the 19th century – the Romantic period. In between we are taken on a journey to the music of Argentina and the tango, Eastern Europe with Klezmer and Australia. The collection of songs in the second half reflects the beauty of the soprano voice and the harp solos give us a sneak into the versatility of this incredible instrument.
