Join California naturalist, artist, and author Obi Kaufmann for an in-person talk celebrating the release of his latest book, California Inside Out. Drawing from his decades of experience exploring and observing California, Kaufmann will share stories and reflections on the state’s landscapes, ecology, and natural history. The approximately one-hour talk will invite us to take a closer look at the places around us and consider how a deeper understanding of California’s natural world can shape the way we experience and care for it.

- What if it rains?
Rain or Shine Policy
Our classes generally take place rain or shine. We do not cancel classes simply because rain is forecast; however, the safety of our students, instructors, and staff comes first. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, we will evaluate the situation on a case-by-case basis and may modify, relocate, postpone, or cancel a class. If TPF cancels or postpones a class due to weather, registered participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a refund or the option to transfer their registration to a rescheduled date when available.
