Event description

Observational Drawing with Alex is a public program for Nestings, Exhibiting at Tributary Projects from March 31st - April 17th.

Come join Alex for a relaxed morning of short playful drawing exercises. Getting comfy in the gallery, we will use the space, work and each other as subjects to experiment with shape, colour, perspective and more. No artistic experience or ability is required and all drawing materials will be provided (but feel free to bring your own!).

The session has a limit of 10 participants and is an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC positive space.

Tickets are pay what you feel.

Tributary Projects operates within the lands, skies and waters of Ngunnawal, Ngunawal and Ngambri country. Established in 2017, Tributary Projects is an artist-run-initiative that strives to create opportunities for a diverse range of practitioners. Originally based in Fyshwick, but with the support of Ainslie and Gorman Arts Centres, we are now located in Gorman Arts Centre B Block Hall. We operate as a project-space where dynamic and expanding practices can be supported, explored and can contribute to community-building and wider arts conversations within Canberra and beyond our city boundaries.
