Ocean Breath - Surf Survival Course

This course is designed specifically for surfers and covers essential ocean breathing techniques, extended breath-holds, establishing awareness and connection to your surroundings, improved awareness to read conditions, better decision-making in high-pressure moments, how to stay calm and centred in bigger swell, and how to manage your energy for optimum paddling power - ultimately, to catch more waves!

This 3 hour workshop includes an interactive classroom session, land-based skills followed by an optional free pool training, to help you navigate your breath-hold journey with more confidence.

Who is the Ocean Breath & Surf Survival Course for?

This course is designed with beginner and intermediate surfers in mind. Those who want to build their confidence and progress to the next level in wave size. This course equips surfers and ocean lovers with techniques to stay calm and manage intense situations such as surfing hold-downs. More advanced surfers who have not done any formal apnea training will also have a lot to gain from this course.

Michael From Boundless Breathing brings his experience as an Apnea Survival instructor and 40m freediver to the party. He also teaches other breathing modalities along with yoga and meditation.
