Join us for a special screening of Ocean with David Attenborough — a breathtaking and award-winning documentary celebrating the wonder, beauty and importance of our oceans.
Geography Victoria in partnership with The Royal Society of Victoria and the Emerging Scientists Network are proud to present this free screening in celebration of David Attenborough’s 100th birthday and World Ocean Day. The film offers a powerful exploration of the ocean’s vitality, fragility and the urgent need for its protection.
Following the screening, guests are warmly invited to stay for afternoon tea and a panel discussion featuring emerging researchers working in marine and environmental fields at The University of Melbourne. Hear from the next generation of scientists as they share insights into the exciting research and challenges shaping our understanding of the marine environment today.
