Ocean Heroes is coming back to Broome for the first time in 2024!
Ocean Heroes is excited to return to Broome to share the joy of surfing with the local Autism community. We're excited to run a two-day event at Cable Beach - with the capacity to take over 100 kids surfing for free! Please share this with other families throughout the Broome, and Kimberley region!
Date: Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June 2024
Venue: Cable Beach, in front of the Surf Life Saving Club, Broome, Western Australia
Time: Your child will be booked into a 45 minute time slot between 9am-2pm.
What to bring: Bathers, towels, hat, water-bottle, sunscreen and a change of clothes
* Please be advised it is compulsory for each attendee to wear a life jacket in the water.
We provide surfboards, wetsuits, lifejackets and surf instructors.
There will be Ocean Heroes hats, shirts, poncho towels and other items for sale at the event.

FAQs
Are there minimum or maximum age requirements to enter the event?
No, if they fit into one of our life jackets we will take them! We have a huge range of of sizes for our life jackets so it should not be a problem.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Park at the Cable Beach SLSC car park and then walk down to the stairs to see us.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring a change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, hat. We provide wetsuits and lifejackets but if your child has their own wetsuit please bring it down.
