OCEAN LOVERS FESTIVAL | Paint & Splash - My Blue Bestie

For over two decades, local freediver and ocean treasure-hunter Jesse Muller has been exploring our blue backyard — and he’s almost never alone. His underwater sidekick, Scrappy the Blue Groper, a bold, brilliant, and irresistibly curious fish, has joined him on countless deep-sea wanderings. Together, this unlikely duo has uncovered extraordinary relics and artefacts — some reaching back to the nineteenth century — while forming one of the most charming friendships beneath the waves.

In this 2-hour workshop led by local Han Art, you’ll dive into Jesse and Scrappy’s remarkable story and then create your own vibrant painting of Scrappy - this time on a plate! Han will guide you step-by-step through the creative process, offering hands-on tips and personalised feedback so your artwork shines as brightly as the legendary bond between Scrappy and Jesse.

Please bring $10 cash on the night if you want your pieces fired! Please leave 28 days for the firing process.
