Robin Mellon has combined his love of the built environment, passion for sustainability, experience with supply chains, and qualifications in property and finance to become one of Australia’s experts on sustainable supply chains.
SPEAKERS:
Dr. Mitch Gibbs, University of Sydney
Mitchell is a proud Dunghutti man through kinship, and Lecturer and Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Sydney in the Schools of Geosciences. From Indigenous traditional owners and knowledge holders, he learns about our environments and ways to manage those environments using shellfish-associated practices handed down through oral and lived histories and putting this into practice with Habitat restoration work with the Gamay Rangers and the La Perouse Local Aboriginal Land Council.
Kyah Chewying, Wollongong University
Kyah is a Yuin Walbunja woman and PhD student researching Indigenous oral histories and habitat mapping to understand urchin barrens in NSW. She advocates for Traditional Knowledge inclusion in Western science and diverse voices in research.
