Dr. Leonardo Guida is a shark scientist and conservationist at AMCS focusing on sustainable fisheries. He engages with the broader Australian community to deliver conservation outcomes that protect our sharks, rays, and the oceans we all depend on.

Artist Jenny Turpin

Jennifer Turpin is an Australian artist known for her innovative environmental and public space artworks, often incorporating water and movement to create dynamic, site-specific installations that engage with nature’s elemental energies.

Lorna Parry, Co-founder of Underwater Earth

Lorna Parry is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Underwater Earth, a pioneering ocean conservation charity dedicated to reshaping how people see and understand the ocean. A passionate storyteller, she leverages the power of virtual reality filmmaking and immersive exhibitions to change perceptions and inspire action for marine conservation. Lorna curated the acclaimed touring exhibition Out of Sight, Out of Mind, featured at this year’s Ocean Lovers Festival, offering audiences a striking and thought-provoking glimpse into the hidden impacts threatening our ocean.
