Oct 30, 2026 Nariya Cleveland — Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat Dinner
Description
**Nariya Cleveland Kabbalat Shabbat and Dinner has moved locations to Cleveland Heights's historic Heights Theater in Coventry Village (2781 Euclid Heights Blvd).
This change is due to the elevator being temporarily out of service at Beth El - The Heights Synagogue.
6pm Service followed by 7:15pm dinner.
Early Pasta Dinner at 5 pm for young families!
Nariya Cleveland is a lively, participatory, musical Kabbalat Shabbat, followed by a communal dinner and is open to people of all backgrounds. Appearing twice at the beginning of Kabbalat Shabbat, the word Nariya can perhaps best be translated as “sing out from your essence.” In this spiritual expression of music, we celebrate and immerse in communal song, building a collective circle of sound.
All are welcome to join for Kabbalat Shabbat from 6-7:15 pm. Pre-registration for dinner required; closes at 5 pm on Tuesday October 27th.
Dinner will be catered vegetarian/pescatarian with hekshered kosher options available.
The cost per person for the dinner is now $15-18 so we are asking for a sliding scale contribution between $0-$22 for adults and $0-$14 for children. Please contribute what feels right, and if that is $0 that is good too!
Additional contributions of any amount, and table sponsorships of $100 or more, are also deeply appreciated.
To make or add a donation to your registration, use the "Additional Contribution" box (located under tickets selection on the Nariya registration page).
Heights Theater is wheelchair accessible. Parking is available in the garage on Coventry and street parking is also available. Please enter through the front door. Just like at Beth El, we will have a greeter in the front from the community and a security guard stationed in the back office with a monitor on the front entryway. Please contact us with any other accessibility or security questions.
