Oct 22 | Hemming Party! 🪡🎈 | Ages 16+

This Thursday afternoon, join us for a hemming party! It's finally time—grab that pile of clothes you've been meaning to hem, and get on down to SCRAP. We've got sewing machines and special sewing machine feet, a serger(!!!), fabric scissors, grid rulers, pins, hand-sewing tools, marking tools, and everything else you'll need to finally get those jeans or that dress to the right length. Come one, come all: let's get those garments hemmed!

Pssst, if you finish early, we'll have hand-sewing and embroidery materials on offer. Sew on a decorative patch, or some embroidered flowers onto your newly hemmed clothing!

Note: SCRAP educator Kate will be operating a sewing machine to help those who have never machine-sewn before, but we'll have five (5) other sewing machines and a serger in the studio available to machine-experienced sewists to use!

Drop-ins welcome—arrive any time during the event to craft!

2:30-5:30pm | Ages 16+. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Mask friendly environment encouraged. All materials & tools provided (but bring your own clothes to hem!)
