Springtime edition holiday Programme

Our Little Dancers have 2 fun springtime themed workshops to enjoy these holidays. This is a great opportunity to try out a dance class before committing to a whole term. Bring a friend for a $5 discount.

If you've been meaning to try out a class our holiday workshops are a good one to come along to. We have Stretch & Conditioning and/or Ballet for adults on Wednesday 30th September.

Regular students please check the schedule and book into your rehearsal. Students are encouraged to do the stretch & conditioning class as a warm up, and you will definitely gain a benefit from doing the 3 days of classes.

· Little Legs introduces dance skills across all genres while nurturing creativity and encouraging movement play.

· Primary Ballet introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of classical ballet through imaginative activities, music, and movement.

· Stretch & Conditioning is based on Pilates principles and exercises specifically developed for dancers. This class is designed to improve strength, flexibility, stability, and overall conditioning. Students will develop their leg extensions, build core strength, balance, and control, while preparing their bodies for regular dance classes and reducing the risk of injury. It's the perfect complement to any dancer's training. Wednesday class suitable for adults, come during your lunch break!

· Adult Ballet combines technique, strength, flexibility, and artistry through barre exercises, centre work, turns, and jumps. Students of all levels can work at their own pace in a supportive environment while improving coordination, fitness, confidence, and appreciation for ballet.

PRICES

Stretch & Conditioning - $20 - 1 session, $50 - 3 sessions
Tuesday Ballet Grade 3/4 & Lyrical concert rehearsal plus stretch - $30
Adult ballet - $20, adult ballet & rehearsal $30, ballet + rehearsal + stretch $40, just rehearsal $20
Primary ballet workshop + rehearsal $30
Major/Intermediate ballet rehearsals plus stretch & conditioning $30
all youth rehearsals plus all stretch classes $90

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Students need to bring their OWN water bottle to dance.

Hand sanitiser is available at the entrance and all students are encouraged to use this upon entry. Soap and water is available in the toilet.

Please do not attend dance classes if you are unwell, stay safe and rested at home. Please also advise us if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 and have been at dance.

All students are encouraged to not use phones whilst at dance.

Albany Contemporary Dance takes duty of care towards students very seriously. However, parents & students acknowledge that dance is a physical art form and there is a low risk of injury. Parents and students must also acknowledge that they have read and will abide by the Terms & Conditions.
