Be part of the launch of Ideas Club – The Unusual Suspects, a new quarterly salon celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the playful, messy brilliance of ideas coming to life in the Illawarra and beyond.

At this event, you can:

• Be inspired by local innovators sharing their stories in short 5-minute presentations.

• Rehome ideas – bring along the great ideas you’ll never get to and pass them on to someone who can bring them to life, or pick up an idea that sparks your next project on our interactive idea board.

• Connect with collaborators, fellow dreamers, and idea lovers during a relaxed networking mixer.

Location: Imaginarium, Shellharbour, NSW (cnr of Addison & Wentworth sts)
Suggested donation: $10

What the evening looks like

6:30pm – Doors open
Arrive, settle in.

6:45pm – We kick off
Acknowledgement of Country
Intro to Ideas Club and the host venue
Quick icebreaker to get the room talking

Two short talks
5 minutes each + 10 minutes Q&A straight after

Break (15 mins)
Comfort break, chats, and time with the Ideas Board.

Rehoming Ideas
We review what’s on the board and connect ideas with the right energy:

• Collaborators

• Explorers

• Supporters

Then a quick round of:
Guided introductions

From there — open networking and making it real.

Wrap by 8:45pm.

This is a safe, inclusive space where ideas aren’t judged – they’re explored, celebrated, and refined. Applaud bravery, follow the “two feet” model to move on from what doesn’t serve you, move towards what does, and leave inspired to create.
