You're invited to our October book club! This month's book is The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, one of the most influential ghost stories ever written. A young governess is hired to care for two orphaned children, Miles and Flora, at their uncle's country estate. She becomes convinced that the manor, and the children, are haunted by the ghosts of former servants Peter Quint and their previous governess, Miss Jessel.

Rundown of the afternoon:

6pm. Get to know the group over a drink
6;30pm. Chat about the book - did you love it? hate it? still on the fence?
8:00pm. Final thoughts and votes for our November book club.
8:30pm. Say goodbye to your new friends.
