💛 Odd Socks at FunHaus Factory – Your new quarterly dance ritual in Gosford.

We acknowledge that we are living on stolen land. We pay our respects to Aboriginal people, the traditional custodians of this land, and to Elders past and present. It always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

Odd Socks is a little rebellion against the boring, and the predictable, it's about showing up exactly as you are, celebrating individuality, and connecting through music that moves you.

Presented by local DJ Kate Doherty plus some DJs you’ll know, some will surprise you. Sometimes it’ll feel familiar, other times it’ll push you somewhere new.

Think: techno, house, minimal, electro, drum & bass.

Why the name?

Because wearing mismatched socks is a joyful reminder that stepping outside the norm is freeing. We bring that same energy to the dancefloor.

Kate Doherty

Kate Doherty (they/them) has been energising dance floors for over two decades, shaping the Eora electronic scene with their eclectic blend of techno, house, electro, and funk.

Now based on Darkinjung Country, Kate is known for boundary-pushing sets that celebrate rhythm and community. A former resident for House of Mince and 4our, they’ve played major Sydney events including Subsonic and Mardi Gras, sharing stages with icons like Paula Temple, Helena Hauff, DJ Sprinkles, and Freddy K.

Doors Open: 5pm for $15 cocktail happy hour + Delicious burgers and street food from Beau’s Burgers

This is an 18+ event, in a fully accessible venue.

If you're driving, street parking and public parking is available in Baker St car park (enter via Erina St near Gosford hotel and ground floor parking is free)
