OddHours: Grit Works - Mountain Bike Accelerator Launch Night

Got a mountain bike product idea you keep talking about on rides… but haven’t built yet? OddHours is your low-pressure, high-energy chance to see how it could actually happen.

We’re announcing a brand-new 11-week Mountain Bike Accelerator designed to help local founders take an idea from “what if…” to prototype, validation, and a real path to market—fast. You’ll hear what’s included, who it’s for, what you’ll get out of it, and how to put your hand up for the first cohort.

The program runs March 30 to June 12, built to make the most of the shoulder season and wrap up before ski season kicks off.

Plus: free drinks + snacks thanks to Altitude Brewery 🍻
Proudly sponsored by the QLDC Economic Futures Team.

Whether you’re a tinkerer, designer, mechanic, rider with a clever fix, or someone who’s been quietly sitting on a great idea—come along. Bring a mate. Leave with clarity (and probably a drink in hand).

Spots are limited — register to lock it in.

Our monthly events are set up to get people connected to the community around the region that's working on exciting projects!
We have 1 or 2 guest speakers a month showcase what they are working on and what they have planned for the future. these can be full blown projects that have become careers, passions that someone found on a random weekend, or anything between. the goal is to learn about something intresting then spend some time mingling with other people that are intrested in the world of innovation, what ever that means to them. we have programmers, product designers, students retirees, machinists, game designers, property developers and everything between.

Our aim is to be the one stop shop to grow your network and get to know a bunch of inspirational people. we host these events because we love exploring new tech, learning about peoples projects, meeting new friends and opening our minds to the possibilities that different people see in the world.

We are always on the lookout for people to come talk about what they are working on. we will not accept sales pitches, but we would love to hear the story of how your product came into the world. reach out to us at Hello@wildtech.kiwi if you know someone who you would like to see come and talk about a project (including yourself.)
