OFF CAMERA FLASH - my favourite way to shoot!

GUINEA PIGS - As this is the first flat workshop I have run in nearly 5 years I am offering a special $100 discount for 8 people to come along and learn some cool skills whilst I iron out any bugs the latest cameras may have thrown my way :)

As much as I love natural light photography there is NOTHING I like more than to shoot with off camera flash.

For me it is all about control. I want the light where I want it, with the look that I want and I want the scenes mood set exactly as I want.

ONLY off camera flash gives me complete control.

It's not hard, you just need to learn some skills and systems and that is exactly what this day is all about.

Our day is a whirlwind of learning and amazing photos.

We start our day with a two hour presentation discussing all things flash.

You will learn how to get your flash shots correctly exposed first time, every time!

After lunch we spend the afternoon putting those lessons into practice, setting up photos with our model, and then learning how to maximise each opportunity. 

The day is very hands on and you are guaranteed to go home with a head full of new ideas and a new way of looking at the world.

Each day is different with weather, the time of year, the locations and the opportunities that arise. We never know exactly what we will confront us when we head out to shoot and that's always exciting!

Experience/Knowledge

This workshop will provide ALL the knowledge you need to ensure you not only capture great photos on the day but also take home the skills to create your own. Wether you are a rank beginner or an advanced shooter you will find plenty to love on the day.

Gear Requirements:

Camera with interchangeable lenses, lenses covering ideally 24mm up to 200mm or thereabouts.

Don't have a suitable lens?

Let us know as loan lenses may be possible on the day.

A flash is NOT needed for this event, all gear will be provided.
