The film follows the lives of seven Indigenous students as they leave home to spend a year boarding at one of Australia’s oldest and most elite boarding schools, Geelong Grammar.

As the students move between boarding life and home life, OFF COUNTRY explores identity, belonging, culture and connection, creating a powerful and deeply human portrait of what it means to be an Indigenous child in Australia today.
