Off-Grid / On-Purpose is a gathering for up to 20 founders and CEOs to gain perspective, build genuine relationships, and explore practical ways to lead and live with greater intention.

Hosted in the picturesque Bluebell Stone Shelter in Chautauqua Park, this day-long experience invites founders to unplug from daily leadership, reconnect with themselves and one another, and return with greater purpose and presence.

This group will connect through facilitated dialogue, planned talks, and spontaneous conversation while experiencing moments of intentional solitude and on-purpose ceremony.

Dan has spent 25 years at the frontier of technology. Most recently VP of AI & Data at Headspace, he has also served as Engineering Director at Apple, Head of Data at YouTube, Lead Data Scientist for Google Maps, Senior Director of Data Science & Engineering at Meta, and Senior Director of Data Science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

He received Dharma transmission in the Soto Zen lineage, chairs the Board of Trustees at San Francisco Zen Center, teaches at Esalen Institute, leads retreats at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, and serves as a trustee of Naropa University.
