OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH MONTH - NEW SOUTH WALES
Join us as we officially launch National Mental Health Month in New South Wales on the 1st of October. Through these proceedings, we formally kick off our month long campaign by engaging the community and community leaders, exploring the importance of promoting better mental health for all, and our theme of Building Resilience: Communities and Connections. Awards will also be presented for youth creative writing, art, music, and community advocacy and action for mental health.
The MHFA are honoured to have the involvement of Director of The Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use, The University of Sydney, Professor Maree Teesson AC.
Morning tea will be provided.
