Opening - Ravensthorpe Wildflower Show.

The show kicks off in the morning from 9:00 a.m. but, the official opening and celebration happens at 5:00 p.m. 

Our guest speaker is the internationally renowned scientist Professor Steven Hopper AC. Steve is one of the worlds leading field active biologist who is widely travelled and well published scientific author. Steve has named over 300 plants that are new to science some of which are named after him. 
Professor Hopper served as Director both at Kings Park and Botanic Garden in Perth  and at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, in London.We feel quite privileged and very excited to have Steve officially open the 41st annual wildflower show.
