WHO ATTENDS?

The Offline Valentine event attracts grounded yet ambitious professionals, fun-loving travellers, those who enjoy outdoor activities, passionate people with an interest in health or personal development, and ALL prefer extended face-to-face conversations (as opposed to swiping, typing, night clubs or speed dating).

YOUR HOST

Your charismatic host (and professional Match Maker), Sarah, facilitates this in-person event to ensure conversation flows effortlessly, allowing you to relax and have fun as you meet and engage with new people.

A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT

The cornerstone of our event is a famous set of 36 questions, which guide conversation. The original set of 36 questions are scientifically proven to create closeness, and have resulted in love between people (and eventually marriage!).

NOTE: The goal is NOT to complete all questions but to use them as a guide for quality conversation and building connection. The nature of the 36 questions requires a degree of personal vulnerability. If you prefer to take your time (longer than 60-90 minutes) opening up and sharing stories about yourself, this event is probably not suited to you.

THE EVENT

7:30pm registration at mystery venue (within Melbourne's CBD). Details given after confirming your attendance.

You'll be introduced to the other guests and participate in an easy conversation starter to warm everyone up nicely. Order a drink from the bar.

At 7:45pm (once everyone has arrived) we begin the 36 questions. The host asks the first question, and everyone has a chance to answer, before proceeding to the next question.

BONUS: A FREE copy of "The 36 Questions That Lead To Love" (original) will be sent to you via email once you have booked your ticket to attend this event. Please read over the questions before attending so you're well prepared. From time to time we may alter the questions to ensure the experience stays fresh for our regulars.

At 9:30pm the event wraps up. Guests may choose to stick around or say farewell. You're welcome and encouraged to GIVE your contact details out during the event to stay in touch.

Dress code: Smart casual
Age group: similar (+/- 10 years)
Is food/drinks included? No. Please pay-as-you-go.
Gender balance: Please do not attend our event if an exact gender balance is important for your enjoyment of this event. We aim to balance the genders eg 3 males and 3 female however this is not always possible (last minute cancellations). Attend with an open mind, and a sense of adventure, ready to make new friends and enjoy meaningful connections.
Group size: our events are based on quality of connection, not quantity. Please do not attend this event if you want to meet lots of people.

REFUNDS

No refunds if your circumstances change, or if you change your mind about attending. A transfer may be possible; please contact us ASAP when you have found someone to take your place (similar age, same gender, lifestyle, values).
