The New Ofsted Framework 6 months on
Description
An in-person conference (venue to be confirmed), held in conjunction with Ofsted, to explore experiences over the first 6 months of working with the new framework.
The event is designed to move beyond simply understanding the framework itself and instead focus on how organisations can interpret, operationalise and respond to the evolving inspection landscape in meaningful and practical ways.
Conference Objectives
The conference aims to:
· Provide members with direct insight into the direction and intent and effective practice of the updated Ofsted framework in practice.
· build confidence, share experiences and identify effective approaches to inspection readiness and quality improvement.
· Explore how inspection themes may be interpreted within apprenticeship and skills provision.
· Support members to understand practical implications for leadership, curriculum, quality assurance
· Create opportunities for peer learning and collaborative problem solving.
· Enable members to share effective practice, concerns and implementation strategies.
· Launch and showcase practical resources designed to support inspection preparation and continuous improvement.
· Strengthen member confidence and preparedness through discussion, reflection and networking.
The agenda will include hearing from members about their experiences, from colleagues at Ofsted on their reflections over the last 6 months and we will provide spotlight sessions from members with proven effective practice in key areas of the framework. The conference will combine:
