American Pigeon Museum Field Trip-OKC
Event description
EPIC Families,
Join us for a field trip on Friday, February 28th at the American Pigeon Museum in Oklahoma City!
By visiting this unique museum, students have the opportunity to learn about the history of pigeons and their domestication in the United States. During our self-guided tour we will also explore how the use of homing pigeons during World War I and World War II was helpful in communications. Our students will meet inside the front of the museum for a brief overview before heading through the museum. If you are unfamiliar with this museum or would like more information about this location to know if your students would enjoy the experience, please click the link below.
