Historic Premiere of Oklahoma Woman Quartet by Cherokee-American Composer Anjelica Lindsey
Join us for the highly anticipated live premiere of the Oklahoma Woman Quartet, a groundbreaking chamber work by Cherokee-American composer Anjelica Lindsey, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa on March 1, 2025. This free, ticketed event will showcase Lindsey’s original compositions for string quartet and voice, featuring musicians from the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra and Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra. Anjelica Lindsey will also perform vocals.
Special guest composer Dr. Noam Faingold will present two original works and share remarks.
This cultural milestone, supported by Artist Creative Fund and CACHE Create, celebrates the first-ever string quartet composed and premiered by a Cherokee woman.

Due to overwhelming demand, the sold out Oklahoma Woman Quartet will now be performed at All Souls Unitarian Church to accommodate a larger audience.
