About Better Connect+

Better Connect+ welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds.

We are particularly welcoming of LGBTQI community, allies and supporters.

While many of our members are over 50, our events bring together people from different generations who share common interests. We believe the best connections happen when people of all ages come together, so whether you're 30, 50, or 80, you'll find a welcoming community here ready to get out of the house and enjoy shared experiences.

Why Better Connect+?

Because being active and connected isn’t just good for your physical and mental health—it’s something you deserve. Life is richer when shared with others!

What to Expect

You can explore our Better Connect+ calendar which is where you can find all our upcoming Better Connect+ events such as:

Better Connect+ Outings: Carefully planned group activities tailored to a variety of interests.
Collaborative Events: Opportunities to join existing activities hosted by other organisations.
Affordable Options: Recognising that budgets vary, we’ll include free or low-cost activities, as well as options where participants can purchase their own tickets for exhibitions, sports events, workshops, and more.

Our Goal

To celebrate the diversity of our community by offering opportunities to connect through shared interests. This isn’t just about meeting people with similar experiences—it’s about making genuine friendships and creating memories.
