Create a one-of-a-kind hand-painted olive oil decanter—perfect as a thoughtful holiday gift or a beautiful addition to your own home.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore brush techniques and design ideas to create your own personalized bottle in your favorite colors. Your finished piece can be used in many ways—fill it with olive oil, salad dressing, or wine; use it as a bud vase, candle holder, or decorative accent with twinkle lights.

All materials are included: glass bottle, pour spout, paints, and brushes.

Your first glass of wine will be included along with charcuterie-style snacks from the Boise Co-op Deli. Additional wine may be purchased.

About the Instructor:

Your host, Barbara Balkin, is the owner of Back Gate Studio. Barbara is a fiber artiest, painter, and teacher. She teaches brings multiple formats of art workshops to folks of all ages across the Treasure Valley, bringing unique art experiences to the community.
