OLIVER! the musical

Riccarton High School is delighted to present Lionel Bart's 'Oliver! the Musical' as our 2023 school musical.

Based on the Dickens novel 'Oliver Twist' the story revolves around a young boy who finds himself in the criminal underground of Victorian London as part of a pickpocketing gang. He, luckily, is offered a pathway out of this life, but escaping is not quite so easy as it seems.

Oliver! is a show that has truly lasted the test of time winning a number of awards for both the stage and screen versions and has become one of the most popular school musicals of all time.
