Australian-born, New York-based vocalist Olivia Chindamo together with pianist Matthew Sheens return home to celebrate the release of their second duo album, Putting it Together—a fearless and deeply personal collection that reimagines the art of song.

Widely recognised as one of Australia's most exciting musical exports, Chindamo made history as the first-ever jazz voice graduate at The Juilliard School, receiving her Masters degree in 2021. She has performed extensively across North America, Mexico, Europe, and Australia, including at venues such as The Kennedy Center, Dizzy’s Club, and Lincoln Center. Most recently Olivia has toured with world-renowned conductor Alondra de la Parra in Gershwin La Vida en Azul performing the role of Kay Swift alongside Broadway luminaries Robbie Fairchild and Sara Esty and critically acclaimed pianist Thomas Enhco.

In this joint effort, with genre-defying pianist and 2026 APRA Art Music Award winner Mattew Sheens, the two deliver what they call a “democratically curated collection of forgotten Great American Songbook gems, masterfully reworked classics and original compositions.”

A kaleidoscope dream of contemporary folk-jazz-indie fusion, Emily-Rose and the Wild journeys through songs and soundscapes that explore the shifting sands of environmentalism, politics, the natural world and human experience. With an intimate virtuosity at the piano and accordion, and her honey like vocals, Emily-Rose moves with endless curiosity, between improvised and composed textures, influenced by traditions she has been lucky enough to explore as an Australian musician with rambling cultural roots.

Her 2023 album Upon These Upon Skins was a finalist for the APRA Art Music Awards (Best Jazz Work), and in 2024 she toured solo across Canada and the UK, including performances with celebrated songwriter The Magic Lantern
