OLJ Bowls Afternoon 8th Nov 2026

Put together a team, choose an appropriately amusing team name and come along to have some fun whilst supporting the charitable works of the Order of Saint Lazarus in South Australia, specifically this year, the work of Food On The Table, the 100% not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to providing free, nutritious meals to South Australians in need.

Toorak Burnside Bowls Club will provide a coach to assist first time bowlers and will also organise a fun competition between the registered teams. The competition format will be 4 end rounds to determine finalists to play off, although the exact format will be determined by TBBC on the day, accounting for numbers and other factors, like weather. There will be prizes for the winning team, the runner up and the wooden spooners.

An afternoon tea with food, tea and coffee provided free of charge. TBBC will operate a bar during the afternoon for wine, beer and soft drinks at players’ expense.
