Omafiets Bicycles

You are cordially invited to Omafiets for an evening of presentations from the wider cycling community. We are excited to be able to host two particular voices and persectives from our community that will provide an interesting insight into the world of long distance riding. 

Kicking off the night we will have a short documentary "The Silk Road Cargo Race". Brought to you by Omnium, Allan Shaw and Antonio Peipo. This documents ultra distance rider Allan Shaw's experiences attempting the Silk Road Mountain Race across Kyrgistan on an Omnium Cargo bike. 

We will then have Madeline Hoffmann (@iammadelinehoffmann) presenting about her recently finished tour across part of the globe. Starting from Germany and finishing in Australia, on a trip that was for more than the accomplishment of cycling but included an important family connection along the way. Madeline will also keep time for a Q&A afterwards for those interested getting more details from her story.

Finally we will give an update of our plans for shop rides coming up this year.

Some snacks and light refreshments will be provided and some time will be available for attendees to mingle and get to know fellow bike enthusiasts.
