Event description

POSTPONED DUE 'RED' COVID RESTRICTIONS

A fabulous family day at Omaka, featuring the first public engine runs of the John Smith Mosquito, supported by an array of classic cars and warbirds on display. Joy flights will be available, great food and music, plus the aviation museum is included in the entry price - usually $39pp. What a deal!

Every ticket holder is also in the draw to be ‘co-pilot’ while the Mosquito engines are run up.* Age and physical ability restrictions apply.

Money raised will go towards the ongoing upkeep of the Mosquito.

Managing Covid-19: Please note entry is subject to the presentation of a valid NZ Vaccine Pass (12 years plus), and all attendees must sign in with the official NZ Covid App or by using the ballot provided. Hand sanitiser will be available. Face coverings are required (unless you hold a valid mask exemption) in all indoor areas and encouraged outdoors, especially when physical distancing is difficult. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. Anyone displaying symptoms such as a cough, a runny nose or fever will be refused entry or asked to leave the premises. Thank you for your assistance.
