Welcome to Jury Duty. The award-winning global hit podcast One Minute Remaining comes to Melbourne after a SELL-OUT Adelaide Fringe debut.

A compelling, compassionate and often crazy glimpse behind the bars of the US penal system, host Jack Laurence talks to incarcerated people about their stories. With his open and non-judgemental approach he has a unique knack for encouraging his guests to open up to him about their life, crimes and time behind bars.

Join Jack as he talks the live audience through the story of the man who successfully (!!!) sued Diddy for $100 million from behind bars. The case has so many twists and turns and an ending unlike any heard on the podcast to date.

Then (all things being equal/ prison being prison!) Temujin Kensu - who has been incarcerated for a murder he could not possibly have committed since 1986 - will join the show via a call from prison, where thirty-eight years on from his wrongful conviction he is still fighting for his freedom. This is an incredible opportunity to hear from someone in these circumstances in real time. Temujin will discuss his own case… and he just happens to know the guy from the Diddy case so may have a thing or two to say about that!

In just two years the podcast has become essential listening in over 130 countries, reached number one on both the Spotify and Apple podcast charts, been shortlisted for two Australian Podcast Awards and won Best Indie Crime Podcast.

With listeners - who refer to themselves as the OMR Jury - passionately discussing cases to decide on the innocence or guilt of those featured, don’t miss your chance to join the Jury at this truly unique Melbourne debut.
