On Diamond album launch with Oliver Mann
Event description
~~ About
Experimental pop band On Diamond launch their anticipated second album Melon on the Vine, with special guest experimental folk artist Oliver Mann.
Melon on the Vine is the second album from alternative/experimental pop band On Diamond, exploring themes of time, grief, and desire while centering on the pursuit of connection. The band’s distinctive sound unfurls with expressive detail, bringing each song’s world to life. Imagery of rotting fruit, crawling mountains, and rogue sheep evoke dysfunction in a dream-like reflection of personal and collective realities.. On Diamond features Lisa Salvo (vocals), Scott McConnachie (guitar/synth), Duré Dara (percussion), Genevieve Fry (harp), Jules Pascoe (bass), and Myka Wallace (drums).
On Diamond are thrilled to be joined by singular songwriter and experimental folk artist Oliver Mann, whose rare talent in opera, folk, and improvisation creates the perfect alchemy.
