Event description
On Saturday March 22 at 2pm, please join us at King Street Gallery on William in conversation with renowned Australian artists Lucy Culliton and Elisabeth Cummings, moderated by Euan Macleod.
Lucy Culliton and Elisabeth Cummings, both widely loved Australian contemporary artists, have been friends for more than 40 years. Elisabeth Cummings is one of Australia’s most respected living artists with a career spanning over 60 years. Cummings studied at the National Art School in Sydney and was awarded the AGNSW Travelling Art Scholarship in 1958. Lucy Culliton (born 1966) is one of Australia’s most well-recognised contemporary landscape and still life artists. Lucy attended the National Art School and has been successfully exhibiting for over 25 years.
Refreshments will be provided on arrival, and we look forward to an enriching discourse spanning the exhibition On Paper Together 2025, their motivations, artist practice and friendship.
