Firearms are a big part of Aotearoa’s hunting and rural culture. Even if you’re just heading outdoors for a hike, it’s common to cross paths with hunters and encounter firearms. When it comes to learning about firearms, though, teaching environments aren’t always the most welcoming — there can be time pressure, social pressure, or simply impatient teachers. It happens!

This workshop is the perfect opportunity to:

Get familiar with firearms in a safe, no pressure environment, especially if you aren’t interested in hunting
Be exposed to shotguns if you are only familiar with rifles
Learn about firearm safety and gain confidence around them
Do something with the girls and feel badass!
