    ON THE ROAD 65PLUS
    STAYING INDEPENDENT AND SAFE WORKSHOP


    Staying safe and independent is important as we begin to age.

    Presented by Transport for NSW, this free workshop provides older road users with helpful tips to make safer choices when driving, walking or using a mobility scooter, plus more.

    Topics that will be covered include:

    • How your health can impact on road safety
    • Understanding the NSW older drivers licensing system for 75+ and 85+
    • What is a modified license and how to retire from driving
    • Tips for safe driving
    • How to walk safely
    • Using a mobility scooter safely in our community
    • Tips for using public transport safely
    • NSW Road rules – refresh your understanding.
