On The Stoop

From the beating heart of Sydney’s Inner West come On The Stoop.

The 6-piece band are known for their high energy performances and genre-defying music. The group has come storming out of the pandemic, armed with some punchy tunes and a burning desire to play kick-ass shows.

Described by festival goers as The Clash meets Frank Zappa, On The Stoop manage to pack their love of all things punk, free-jazz, spaghetti-western, latin and Devo into their sound.

They are subversive, uncompromising, challenging and always satisfyingly riotous.

Formed by a clarinet player who secretly wanted to play punk rock guitar, this group keeps on electrifying dancefloor audiences at every show.

On The Stoop has recently been touring nationally, performing at Woodford Folk Festival, The Cobargo Folk Festival and Majors Creek Festival.

The recent release "Hard Town", a love song to Sydney, premiered on Fbi in Sydney and 2RRR in Melbourne.

The Kara Coen Band -

Kara Coen is one of the most exciting female soul artists of the south east.

The Australian singer/songwriter plays a unique fusion of soul, funk,  smooth Jazz and pop.

With intoxicating vocals and compelling lyrics; she composes her music on guitar and piano in English and Spanish.

Now she’s created a new sound with her band, the talented group of multi instrumentalists; Sats Kramer, Ashley Welsh-Jones (Howlin’Mitch and the Habaneros, formerly of The Scaramouche,) and Saul Nightingale.

Kara has been called a modern Aretha,  compared to Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin and Sarah Blasko.

A dynamic, power house voice, with a message of love, empowerment and inclusion.  She is gearing up for the release of her new single “Feminine Energy” and her first tour with the band.
