Trudi Ross has spent more than two decades building parallel careers in the corporate and creative worlds, bringing together professionalism, performance and a genuine passion for helping people reconnect with themselves and others.

Alongside a successful corporate career supporting senior leaders in financial services across Australia and the UK, Trudi has worked professionally as a classically trained actor, stand-up comedian, MC and facilitator. Having performed in front of well over a thousand live audiences through theatre, comedy, corporate events, trivia and hosting, she understands the power of laughter, storytelling and shared experiences to bring people together.

Her passion for human connection also led her to work as a Creative Engagement Specialist in residential aged care, where she used music, humour, storytelling, reminiscence and imaginative play to bring joy, confidence and meaningful connection to older Australians. It reinforced something she had always believed—that play is not something we outgrow; it's something many of us simply forget.

Complementing her creative background, Trudi is also a Clinical EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Certified Practitioner, with a deep interest in mental health, nervous system regulation and emotional wellbeing. She believes that when people feel safe, regulated and connected, they're far more willing to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new experiences and discover strengths they didn't know they had.

As the creator of One Act of Fun, Trudi brings these worlds together in a unique way. Through carefully designed theatre-based games, laughter and playful interaction, she creates experiences that help people build confidence, strengthen connection, encourage creativity and rediscover the simple joy of play—without the pressure of performing.

At the heart of everything Trudi does is a simple belief:

Life isn't just about healing or achieving. It's also about laughing, playing, creating meaningful connections and remembering the parts of ourselves that everyday life can sometimes make us forget.
